i don't know what to do for this coming project. i have two choices. i don't know which to choose. HELP ABITTT PLS CAMON.
1) portraits of people w/ disparate objects juxtaposed w/ them
for example, man + piece of meat. or woman + amoeba cell.
the figure will not be interacting with the object at all. it will look like they do not even know it is there. facial expressions will look-self absorbed.
the purpose of thisss is to sort of emphasise people's ignorance to detail or mundane things, or just their ignorance in general. SELF-LOVE, blind to the world around you, self absorption and vanity.
i might paint the people w/ masks or blindfolds or headphones and stuff like that. maybe.
background will be very stark or some abstracty patches of colour type thing.
2) fucked up street portraits
you know those people who sit on the streets and charge people to draw them and all they make are these shitty, yet quite accurate, caricatures?
my plann is to do this for FREE. except instead of caricatures, i will draw the person in a fucked up psychotic way that looks nothing like who i'm drawing. i will see if they will accept the drawing or not. i will take photos of the people w/ their drawing whether they approve of the drawing or not. my final piece will be these photos and possibly transcribing one or a few of the photographs onto canvas.
HELP PLS I CONFUSE DEEE.
